300 Bags of Heroin Recovered after Officers respond to perform a Well-Being Check of a Driver

Springfield, Mass. — On Wednesday March 2nd at approximately 6:10 p.m. Springfield Police Officers were called to the intersection of Plumtree and Wilbraham Roads to conduct a well-being check on a driver slumped over the wheel with the engine running.  Officers were unable to wake up the driver, later identified as Aaron Jackson, and had to break a window before he woke up.

Jackson did not have a license and during a search of the car officers recovered six half-packs of heroin (approximately 300 bags).

35 year old Aaron Jackson of Springfield is charged with:

  • Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Class A Drug
  • Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle
