Springfield, Mass. —  364 Gives, the charitable arm of the Springfield Patrolman’s Union IBPO Local 364, and Police Superintendent Cheryl Clapprood present two $3000 checks to a pair of non-profit organizations; Hockey For Heroes Foundation and Grit and Gratitude Wrestling Academy prior to the Springfield Thunderbirds Hometown Heroes game Saturday April 2nd.

The funds were raised by Springfield Police Officers for No Shave November and 364 Gives.
On Saturday April 9th, the Hockey For Heroes Foundation will be holding it’s 1st ever Hockey for Heroes Foundation Face-Off.  It will be a fun-filled day of hockey featuring local first responders from the Springfield Police Department, Chicopee Police Department, and Westfield Police Department. The event will include raffles, concessions and a guest appearance by Boomer from the Springfield Thunderbirds A public skate will be held by Amelia Park Arena during the intermission hours of 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm. Public Skate fees are as follows: Adults $7, Children $5 & Skate Rentals for $4. If you are free come on down to this family friendly event to support the Hockey For Heroes Foundation.
