C3 Mason Square Unit and Pedal Thru Youth Team Up to Deliver a Bike
Springfield, Mass. — Members of the Springfield Police C3 Mason Square Unit teamed up with Bob “the Bike Man” Charland from Pedal Thru Youth to donate and deliver a bicycle to a youth in need.
C3 Mason Square community members Giselle Gaines and her husband Lorenzo Gaines reached out to C3 Mason Square Sgt. Hector Morales about 12-year-old Emmanuel who was in need of a bike.
Sgt. Morales then contacted Charland and told him about Emmanuel. Charland not only refurbished a donated 21 speed Magna Excitor Mountain bike, he delivered it the Gaines residents where an unsuspecting Emmanuel was playing with friends. Emmanuel also received a brand new helmet.
