Contingent of Springfield Police Officers to Attend Wednesday Memorial Services for Massachusetts State Police Trooper Tamar Bucci

Springfield, Mass. — The Springfield Police Department and the Chicopee Police Department sent a contingent of officers to Revere on Wednesday, March 9 to honor the life of Massachusetts State Police Trooper Tamar Bucci.

Springfield and Chicopee Police officers will travel to Revere Wednesday to attend the funeral services and pay their respects to Trooper Bucci, as well as show support for her family and her brothers and sisters with the Massachusetts State Police.

The officers departed for Revere at 7 a.m. from Springfield Police Headquarters.  The officers will be transported provided by King Gray Coach Lines out of Chicopee who donated their bus for the funeral.

Trooper Bucci was killed in the line of duty on March 3. She was 34 years old and graduated from the State Police Academy in 2020. She was assigned to State Police-Medford.
