Mayor Sarno, Superintendent Clapprood Open New Police Fitness Center

Springfield, Mass. — Springfield Mayor Domenic J. Sarno, Springfield Police Superintendent Cheryl Clapprood and Springfield Police Deputy Chief Rupert Daniel unveiled the new Springfield Police Fitness Center inside Springfield Police Headquarters.

The Fitness Center will allow off-duty officers stay in shape, do preventive training, rehab and decrease stress levels.  The Fitness Center had its soft opening this week.
