On Saturday August 6th at approximately 5:00 p.m. members of the Springfield Police Department’s Firearms Investigation Unit under the direction of Sgt. Christopher Hitas seized a loaded large capacity firearm and made two arrests.

Detectives were then able to remove all three occupants of the car. A loaded large capacity firearm was located in the car and Mr. Ramos was placed under arrest. Mr. Esteras was arrested as well. The third occupant was released.
