SPD Officers Seize Firearm after Knife Incident

Springfield, Mass. — On Monday December 5th at approximately 4:20 p.m. Springfield Police Officers arrested three female suspects and seized a loaded firearm and a knife.

An officer working a detail at Mercy Medical Center observed a disturbance in the emergency room.  One of the individuals had been cut with a knife during a fight on Belle Street.

The suspect, Nezarie Arroyo, who was accused of stabbing a victim was later placed under arrest.

Officers then located a firearm in the victim’s car in which another individual Analise Davis, had just entered.  Both the victim of the knife incident and the other individual who entered the car were arrested on firearms charges.

20-year-old Nezarie Arroyo of Springfield is charged with:

  • Assault & Battery with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife)

25-year-old Sherice Bermudez of Springfield is charged with:

  • Possession of a Firearm without a FID Card
  • Possession of Ammunition without a FID Card
  • Improper Storage of a Firearm

24-year-old Analise Davis of Springfield is charged with:

  • Possession of a Firearm without a FID Card
  • Possession of Ammunition without a FID Card
  • Improper Storage of a Firearm
