SPD Thinking of @MassStatePolice K9 Frankie after Line of Duty Death
Springfield, Mass. — Police Superintendent Cheryl Clapprood on behalf of the Springfield Police Department would like to send our condolences to the Massachusetts State Police for the tragic line of duty death of K9 Frankie in Fitchburg on Tuesday.
We love our K9’s and know how important they are to our department. Even though they are supposed to be tools of the profession their handlers understandably grow incredibly close to their K9 partners. Our thoughts and prayers go out to K9 Frankie’s handler Sergeant David Stucenski as well.
