There are many ways to be involved in your community as it relates to the Springfield Police Department. There are Community Beat Management Teams that meet in the three districts/nine sectors around the City and the Citizens Police Academy.

The Beat Management Teams and Citizens Police Academy are designed to provide information to citizens and help them make informed judgments about the SPD and the issues that effect law enforcement efforts in the community.
