Joint Investigation Leads to Recovery of Large-Capacity Ghost Gun
Springfield, Mass. — On Thursday March 20th, around 6:00 a.m., members of the Massachusetts State Police Gang Unit-West, Springfield Police Firearms Investigation Unit, Hampden County Sheriff’s Department and Massachusetts State Police STOP Team seized a large-capacity Ghost Gun and arrested two suspects.
Members of the Massachusetts State Police Gang Unit-West and Springfield Police Firearms Investigation Unit have been investigating Allens Batista-Quesada for the illegal possession of a firearm.
Troopers applied for and were granted a warrant to search his home on the 0-100 block of Suffolk Street. Members of the State Police STOP Team executed the warrant and cleared the home and located two occupants; Batista-Quesada and Brenliam Rivera who were detained pending the search.
During the search, Troopers and Detectives recovered a 9mm Ghost Gun, an extended magazine capable of holding 31 rounds of ammunition and nine rounds of additional ammunition. Batista-Quesada and Rivera were placed under arres

- Possession of a Convert/Undetectable Firearm
