SPD Officers Seize Loaded Ghost Gun
Springfield, Mass. — On Sunday October 6th, at approximately 12:35 a.m., Springfield Police Officers seized a loaded Ghost Gun and arrested 47-year-old Jeremiah Cruz.
About ten minutes earlier, officers responded to the 500 block of Worthington Street for a gun call with a description of a suspect. Officers located the suspect and recovered a loaded firearm in his waistband. The firearm was loaded and a Ghost Gun.
Officers placed Cruz under arrest.
Springfield Police Officers have seized more than 270 illegal firearms this year, including 15 Ghost Guns.
47-year-old Jeremiah Cruz of Springfield is charged with:
- Carrying a Firearm without a License
- Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License
