Springfield Police & Massachusetts State Police Arrest Ten Men during Undercover “Anti-John” Operation
Springfield, Mass. — On Wednesday December 6th members of the Springfield Police Firearms Investigation Unit under the direction of Captain Brian Keenan, Massachusetts State Police High Risk Victim Unit & Massachusetts State Police Hampden County Detective Unit under the direction of Massachusetts State Police Detective Lieutenant Michael Turgeon in conjunction with the Hampden District Attorney’s Office arrested ten men during an “Anti-John” undercover operation at an area Springfield Hotel.
During the operation members of Law Enforcement would pose as online escorts in which individuals would offer money or something of value in return for a sexual act(s) inside a designated hotel room. This operation is a continuation of the joint efforts between the Springfield Police, Massachusetts State Police & District Attorney’s Office to reduce the demand of commercial sexual exploitation in the city.
From approximately 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. ten “John’s” came to the designated hotel room and were subsequently placed under arrest for purchasing prostitution.

30-year-old Cody Gagen of Springfield is charged with:

24-year-old Ilya Latoshkin of Chicopee is charged with:

53-year-old Eddie Nobles of Chicopee is charged with:

35-year-old Nicholas Holtz of Holyoke is charged with:

38-year-old Jose Dejesus of Westfield is charged with:

59-year-old Mark Hager of Chicopee is charged with:
