A person, impersonating a public utility worker, was on foot in the High Street area asking to take photos of elderly individuals debit cards. The suspect then in turn is alleged to have used those numbers to make withdraws and/or online purchases using the debit card.

Please share this information with your older relatives and friends and do not ever show or give out your Debit Card information, which unlike a credit card links directly to a person’s bank account.
