At approximately 11:45 a.m. Tuesday Springfield Police Officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Main and Gardner Streets. The car was unregistered and had attached plates. While officers were interacting with the driver, identified as Elvin Andino, they noticed that he appeared to be reaching under the driver’s seat.

At approximately 1:00 p.m. Friday October 8th Springfield Police Officers responded to a car wash on the 1300 block of Boston Road for a report of a disturbance.

At approximately 11:15 p.m. Friday October 8th Members of the Springfield Police Department’s Firearms Investigation Unit were conducting an unrelated investigation in the cities North End neighborhood when Detectives observed a group of individuals in a parking lot on Clyde Street.

For the past month members of the Springfield Police Department’s Firearms Investigation Unit under the direction of Captain Brian Keenan have been conducting an illegal firearms and heroin investigation. Detectives applied for and were granted a search warrant for a home on the 100 block of Lincoln Street.

At approximately 2:40 p.m. on Wednesday October 6th Springfield Police Officers observed an individual riding on the hood of a moving car and a second individual sitting on the roof from the sun-roof, while a third individual was leaning out of the passenger side window recording their actions on a phone.

At approximately 1:30 a.m. officers responded to Vadnais Street and Nottingham Street for a report of a single car crash.
