SPD Seeking Public’s Help to Identify & Locate Mother of Newborn
Springfield, Mass. — The Springfield Police Detective Bureau is seeking the public’s help to locate the birth mother of a newborn who was left at a home on Entrybrook Drive.
The newborn boy was wrapped in blankets in a car seat and was likely abandoned between 9:00 p.m. on Friday March 17th and 12:40 a.m. Saturday morning.
The newborn was transported to Baystate and his recovery thus far has been positive.
The Springfield Police Detective Bureau is looking to identify and speak with the mother, who herself may be in need of medical attention.
If you live on Entrybrook Drive or in that area, please check any cameras you may have for anything that could appear suspicious over the past week, especially Friday night and early Saturday morning. If you find something on your cameras, please call Springfield Police Detectives at 413-787-6355.
